Turkish Aerospace Industries TUSAS has donated 348,322 Turkish liras (about $ 100,000) for the relief of Rohingya Muslims, who are under attack by the Myanmar army and Buddhist militias in the Arakan province.
“The killing of children and innocent people in the Arakan region can not be justified, because it is not their fault,” TUSAS director Temel Kotil told a ceremony organized by the Turkish Red Crescent on Monday.
For his part, Ibrahim Al-Sultan, Director General of the Turkish Red Crescent, pointed out that Turkey and the Islamic world have shown a serious attitude towards the injustices of the Rohingya Muslims.
He added that the Turkish Red Crescent provides support to the Muslims of Rohingya affected since the first day of the crisis in Arakan.
He pointed out that their support for the Rohingya was motivated by donors and donors.
Since August 25th, the Myanmar army and Buddhist militias have committed genocide against the Rohingya in the western province of Arakan, killing nearly 7,000 people, according to the Arakan Rohingya National Organization.
The massive violations have pushed another 515,000 people into neighboring Bangladesh, according to the United Nations.
