A curfew imposed by the Myanmar security forces on a village of Rohingya civilians on Friday killed a number of Rohingyas, arrested others, burned homes and mosques, displaced women and children
In mobile phone clips displaced Rohingyas can be seen fleeing from the village towards forests with families whose houses have been burned down, displaced, living homeless and no food under monsoon rains.
Correspondents reports that children have died as a result of the lack of food, while others are waiting for the same fate. Hunger has become a prey for adults and young people, and there is no shelter in the forests except waiting for relief. No associations or institutions provides any humanitarian assistance there.
It should be noted that a new wave of violence against unarmed innocent Rohingyas has erupted about a month ago, led to the attempt by some young people to defend, but both the spokesman of the American Embassy in Rangoon and the Secretary-General of the United Nations condemned the acts of self-defense, That gave the green light to the Myanmar troops to inflict more violence against the Rohingya
