The Myanmar authorities assault and severely injures Rohingya man

A young man was injured by a severe beating and resulted in broken teeth and broken jaw as security forces in Buthidaung city in northern Arakan state.
Arakan News Agency received a video showing the young man Shams ul-Alam Nur Islam, aged 28, from the village of Thapaik taung, south of Buthidaung city, lying on the ground, suffered a severe hemorrhage in the mouth, a broken jaw and lost some teeth as a result of the attack.

According to the witness, one of them said that members of the security forces assaulted the young man after they caught him. He pointed out that the young man may die due to refusal of government hospitals to treat Rohingya and the absence of any non-governmental medical organizations or medical care.
It is noteworthy that such a situation is repeated almost daily in the state of Arakan, while the police ignore to play any role to prevent them.
