A Buddhist gang with the Myanmar army Thursday morning burned the rest of the Rohingya houses, north of the city of Maungdaw.
International organizations have observed the systematic burning of previously populated Rohingya villages as part of Myanmar’s scorched earth policy to expand its campaign to exterminate the Rohingyas through various means of killing and forced displacement towards neighboring Bangladesh.
As the Security Council prepares to discuss the Myanmar violations against the Rohingya, the Myanmar authorities remain unconcerned, while the Burmese criminal hand continues to commit grave abuses and tarnish the lives and symptoms of unarmed civilians.
