The OIC envoy to Myanmar Hamid Syed Albar visited a school on last Sunday for the children of Rohingya refugees in Klang city.

Arakan News Agency correspondent said that during the visit, Albar reviewed the conditions of the students and the facilities of the school, which includes 50 Rohingya students who receive primary education and memorizing the Holy Quran.

AlBar expressed his readiness to make further efforts to develop these schools, which include the children of Rohingyas and to find systematic ways to move to other stages of study, noting that he will seek to provide a plot of land to build a school for them.

This comes as the first visit after the meeting with his staff in Kuala Lumpur to discuss ways to support Rohingya refugees in Malaysia, where Albar promised to visit the Rohingya schools in Malaysia to learn about their condition and help them in the development of education.
