The death of a number of Rohingya children in Southern Maungdaw city of Arakan state by uncertainty raised the question on validity and eligibility of doctors working on children, while government doctors are carrying out vaccination campaigns in a way to prevent diseases. A reporter of Arakan news agency ANA said five Rohingya villages from Southern Maungdaw have witnessed the death of more than 5 children after taking them for medical vaccines in government hospitals, it was in the context of a preventive against seasonal diseases. A number of Rohingya Muslim parents calls for help and to protect their children them from this aggression, accusing the government of injecting their children with invalid or toxic in order to get rid of them and reduce their numbers. One of the locals said in an audio message that this attack is similar to the act practiced by the Israeli authorities against Palestinians and killing children and infants, in order to reduce the proportion of young people among them and killing the spirit of determination in them.
