The Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) congratulated His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of the third anniversary of the designation by the United Nations as a humanitarian leader and the selection of Kuwait as a center for humanitarian action.
“In the name of the oppressed Rohingya people in Arakan and the Rohingya refugees all over the world because of the ethnic cleansing and genocide committed against them by the authorities in Myanmar, I extend the highest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on the occasion of the third anniversary of the designation of a humanitarian leader and the selection of the State of Kuwait as a center for humanitarian action by the United Nations, “adding that” it is not strange to the State of Kuwait and His Highness to be characterized by such titles – which they deserve well ”
The Rohingya Arakan Union (ARU), which includes more than 60 Rohingya organizations from 22 countries, was established in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC); it was recognized as a legitimate representative of the Rohingya at the Astana-Kazakhstan Conference in 2011. Its first conference was held in 2013 at the headquarters of the Organization of the Islamic Conference.
