Locals in Akyab say that chief minister Maung Maung Ohn is taking steps to ban group prayers for Jumma, Eid ul Fitr and eid ul Azha.
The chief minter allegedly told government officials that these occasions were used by Muslims to gather together and plan attacks on Rakhine people.
