Serious injuries to four Rohingya after Buddhist attack

Buddhist gang made up of about 20 people, attacked four Rohingyas (agency retains their names) in Mambra in Arakan State and assaulted them.

Agency correspondent reported that members of the Buddhist gang were carrying hands sticks and types of knives during their attack on four Rohingya victims who were surprised by the attack and were unable to flee or defend themselves, adding that the attack resulted in serious injuries in sensitive parts of the victims. And the reporter added that Rohingyas were surprised by the negative attitude of the Myanmar Police, which merely informed after the incident to inspect the site of the event and take some pictures of people living without taking any further action regarding the incident. An eyewitness said: I think that the members of the gang belongs to the terrorist organization of 969, led by the famous Buddhist monk Ashin Wirathu.
