A Rohingya woman named Rizwana daughter of Yakub aged around 25 years old from Aung Minglar Quarter, Sittwe Township in Arakan State was kidnapped and taken to a cantonment forcefully by soldiers while she was coming back from relative’s home on 16th August 2016.
The next day, she was thrown near the cantonment and soldiers from cantonment camp called the chairman of village Mr. U Hla Myint and said that a Muslim woman was found near their cantonment camp. So Mr. Hla Myint went there and took her unconscious body to their local clinic.
But she was given little treatment in local clinic and she passed away on 17th of August 2016.
Her dead body is still in the local clinic and as of reports her body will be taken to Sittwe General Hospital for post mortem.
