Video footage from the border between Myanmar and Bangladesh showed dozens of Rohingyas stranded there with their families and personal belongings who appealed to humanitarian organizations to help them urgently and provide them with drinking water.
Rohingya activist said hundreds of Rohingyas from different villages had taken refuge in the border between Arakan and Bangladesh to escape the military campaign; but they were surprised by an iron fence that prevented them from crossing.
Many families had accumulated in the same area.
He called on the relief organizations to quickly resolve the situation before it becomes a humanitarian disaster in the absence of sources close to the supply or relief, and the lack of security of the road because of the existence of Buddhist gangs.
