The Government of Palestine expressed solidarity with the Rohingya Muslims, who have faced violations of their basic rights effects of nationalism, expressing great concern regarding the size of the misfortunes suffered by this minority.
This came from Palestinian foreign minister, Dr. Riyad al – Malki in the extraordinary meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Member States in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.
He expressed his deep appreciation to the State of Malaysia, for hosting this emergency meeting to discuss the grave human rights violations against the Rohingya minority Muslims in Myanmar, according to the statement of the Palestine Foreign Ministry.
Maliki called on the Myanmar government to respect its commitments towards the Muslim minority, and take into account the necessary measures to stop the killings, torture and acts of destruction against it .
