President of the Global Rohingya Center (GRC) Abdullah Maruf said that the city of Istanbul on Sunday saw the opening of the first center specializing in supporting Rohingya Muslims at the invitation of humanitarian associations and institutions interested in providing logistical and material and moral support for the Muslims of Rohingya.
Maruf said he to be a pioneer in Rohingya service, and calling on all States to open similar centers to lift the injustice and oppression from the oppressed and the victims of the Muslims Rohingya in Burma in partnership and alliance with Rohingya affiliated institutions under the official bodies in the world.
He had organized a conference in Istanbul last night attended by representatives active in a number of Muslim countries, civil society organizations, offering a short film tells the tragic situation experienced by Muslims in Arakan province of Myanmar, and discussed ways to solve the existing problems in the region.
And Maruf , told Anatolia, its great appreciation for the visit of the Turkish prime minister, Ahmet Davutoglu in the territory of Arakan, pointing out that it was a positive step towards resolving this issue and alleviate the suffering of the Muslim Rohingya, calling on all Islamic countries to assume their responsibilities in this cause.
