Demonstrations by Rohingyas in several countries to condemn the violence in “Arakan”

Hundreds of Rohingya refugees in Malaysia and India came out during the last two days to protest the violence against Rohingya civilians in Maungdaw city by Myanmar Army on the background of the attack that took place against some police stations in the city.

The demonstrators condemned the repression practiced by government forces in Myanmar against the population of the villages in the city of Maungdaw and killing innocent Rohingya people later burying them in mass graves also detention of Muslims without any charges and taking them away from their families.
Demonstrations have also emerged in the state of Penang and Langkawi Island in Malaysia and in the Indian city of Delhi, also participated in these demonstrations were the humanitarian and human rights organizations and Muslims from those countries in support of the position of Rohingya Muslims and condemned the inhuman practices committed by Myanmar forces.
An organization in Malaysia delivered a speech in front of the United Nations Office in Malaysia and condemned the genocide practiced by the government of Myanmar against Rohingya in Arakan State, calling the United Nations to take immediate action in this regard.
It should be noted Arakan State in Myanmar is witnessing a resurgence of violence against Muslims Rohingya by the security forces of killing and the arrest of civilians in response to separate attacks by gunmen in a police and army posts, killing a number of them.

Local media reported that the total number of those killed in these events were up to 90 people, all Rohingya civilians by the government in order to search for the accused.
