Indonesian Parliament Speaker Mr. Fadl Zun expressed his hope that the current conference of the Islamic Union of Parliaments will address the issue of displaced Muslims in Myanmar “because they are in desperate need of assistance”, referring to the “unfortunate” circumstances of the Myanmar Muslims.
This came during a meeting of the Committee of Experts on the 13th session of the Conference of the Union of Councils of the OIC Member States started its work Saturday in Tehran with the participation of representatives of 44 Islamic countries.
