A brutal assault on three Rohingyas by of four Buddhist soldiers on Wednesday morning in the city of Maungdaw in Arakan state, due to which one of Rohingya victims lost an eye after he was hit by the butt of the machine gun the soldiers were carrying.
The three Rohingya victims were on their way back to their village right before the Magrib prayer or sun set after selling some agricultural crops in other villages.
Faisal – one of the victims said ANA that members of the military were at the entrance to their village and assaulted them without reasons.
Faisal added that the soldiers also looted what was in possession before releasing them, pointing out that these cases abound in Arakan State against Muslims without any laws for civilians and military control and adjust the inequities, especially against Muslims.
