Vice President of Myanmar U Myint Soe  visited Thet Kay Pyin camp for displaced Rohingya people in Akyab the capital of Arakan State, and held a meeting with displaced people calling them to follow the regulations of country and not to pay attention to voices that come from outside the country, he says.
Swe said in a speech, “Everyone must follow the regulations in the country. If somebody said something outside the country that there is food which is very tasty, it cannot be judged to be delicious because it is not at your fingertips; therefore, be caution to what you listen to coming from outside the country.

Since you are living here in the country you should abide by its laws. ”
He added: ” The situation is now calm in Maungdaw has made us to take the decision to make curfew hours less than it was in the past. We focus on building peace between the different groups. ”

A reporter of Arakan New agency and Rohingya activists objected to the deputy minister and asked him to be allowed to render an opinion in all transparency and clarity, which was approved by the government official, where the activist pointed to the assassination of the lawyer and the Muslim adviser U Ko Ni last month.
The activist said: ” The international community demands that the Government of Myanmar to deal with this issue with integrity and accountability of who is behind this crime. But it depends on the government and all the people of Myanmar. So, the key to solve the problem is in the hands of the government. ”

He added: “We do not yet know who has the power in our country. Here we have chief Minister of Arakan; but it is a shame to say that he does not have the power that a minister should.

Buddhist extremist parties such as the (969) Ma baa tha has too much power and not be held accountable for their extremism.

Activist stressed that Rohingya living in Arakan for a long time and that they have historical evidence to prove that they are citizens of Myanmar; however , the government and most of the Rakhine people say they migrated from another country, do not deserve citizenship.

The activist called for the convening of a historic debate under United Nations and the international community among historians and who deny their identity as citizens care. He said: “If we can not prove Rohingya identity in this debate, we are ready to be our registration on behalf of migrant Bangladeshis forever. But if we are able to prove our Rohingya identity in this debate, it must be our registration as citizens in Myanmar, and we should have all the rights that citizens deserve. And then this problem will end. ”
The correspondent said that the government official has expressed agreement on the move, but said: “What you said is absolutely correct, but it is a political issue. We came here for peace and reconciliation. ”
