A secretly recorded video showed a group of men confiscating and robbing the property of Rohingya Muslims in Buthidaung, Arakan, Myanmar.

A witness told Arakan news agency that the men filmed in the village of Shabab Bazar were soldiers who had taken off their uniforms to confiscate and steal people’s belongings of jewelery, food and poultry.

The witness told the agency that the soldiers are using the stolen objects and selling them in the markets.

The witness said they took this step to remove their military uniforms because of international pressure directed against the army and the authorities for refusing to investigate the persecution of Rohingya.
