Myanmar is pushing Rohingya to controversial citizenship cards

Arakan news agency correspondent reported that government authorities in Arakan state have imposed arbitrary measures in the towns and cities of Rohingya in Arakan state to force Rohingya Muslims to receive ID cards (NVC).

He explained that these measures were to provide food and nourishment, to the government forces on a daily basis, carrying military tools and transporting them on their orders, as well as guarding barracks and military posts in Arakan state.

He pointed out that the authorities imposed these arbitrary measures on all the towns and cities of the Rohingya, and threatened if these orders are  violated or absent from the work may face sever penalties, pointing out that  Rohingyas are not even getting out of their homes or go to the mosque to perform prayers to avoid government forces.
