The authorities in the city of Rathidaung imposed restrictions on the movement of the Rohingya Muslims after a series of security tensions in the city.
The authorities imposed a curfew in the city after a group of Buddhist extremists gathered after the disappearance of one of their members and found three Muslims dead on the bank of a river in the city, in addition to the arrest of Muslims by the government for security allegations.
According to the reporter, Muslim neighborhoods are in a suffocating siege after Muslims are prevented from leaving their neighborhoods, shopping, selling and buying and preventing others from reaching them.
