A Myanmar’s army personnel stormed a Rohingya home in Buthidaung in Arakan State, the ANA correspondent reported. In detail a military personnel stormed a Rohingya house before midnight during the absence of the owner of the house and attempted to rape a Rohingya girl aged (23 years old) within the home; but the intervention of her mother in law prevented the assault; prompting the assailant to stab with a knife before escaping.
The girl said “I was surprised one of the army break into the house and go directly to the purpose of the assault and tried to pull me out of the house strongly, and when he was intercepted by my mother in law, the soldier stabbed her with a knife and fled the home. She added “Even inside our homes is a real horror, waiting for any calamity come down upon us at any moment, we can expect anything from the security forces and Buddhist gangs.
