Mufti Abdul Salam bin Munir Ahmed took part on Wednesday in the meeting of Muslim Council with a report on the issue of Muslims in Myanmar.
The meeting was chaired by Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and President of the Council, Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, in the Bahraini capital Manama.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss a number of important issues, as well as an action plan for the Council in the coming period, and evaluation efforts for the dissemination of moderation and peace.
