Tens of thousands of Rohingya in Bangladesh held mass demonstrations on Monday to mark the 8th anniversary of the “genocide” committed against them by the Myanmar military in 2017, which included killings, arson, and widespread violations, forcing nearly one million Rohingya to flee from Arakan State in western Myanmar to neighboring countries.
