A boat carrying passengers from Santouli in Akyab has gone missing.
About a fortnight ago, Muslims from this area boarded a boat. Back then the traffickers told their relatives that they would land in Thailand on Monday.
But yesterday, traffickers told their relatives that there was no trace of the boat.
Most passengers are women.
