“The Rohingya is an Islamic and humane issue. The Kuwaiti parliamentary division has succeeded in supporting this international position. We ask Allah to release their dignity,” said Kuwaiti Minister of Awqaf & Islamic Affairs Mr. Muhammad al-Jabri on his personal account of the social networking site Twitter.
Al-Jabri thanked the Speaker of the National Assembly and the Parliamentary Division, Mr. Marzouq Al-Ghanim, and his fellow members of the Division for their success in the International Parliament to include the Rohingya crisis as an emergency item.
