Arakan News Agency

An innocent Rohingya man narrated the story of his escape with the people of his village from the state of Arakan from the forces of Myanmar.

The man said in the video – the agency received from the activists – that when the army launched an offensive against the Rohingya soldiers stormed their village (Tula Tuli) north of the city of Maungdaw in the state of Arakan and started shooting and killing civilians, forcing them to flee outside the village and take refuge in the forestfor three days before they leave to investigate and decide to return to the village or flee elsewhere.

The man denied that the Muslims had committed any killings in their village, accusing the Burmese authorities of fabricating lies to place false charges on Rohingya in order to escape responsibility for the genocide against them.

The man confirmed that there was no neighborhood of Hindus within their village and that the deceased bodies were the Rohingya muslims and that the killers were members of the Myanmar army.

The Myanmar army claimed to have found a mass grave for 28 Hindu bodies, including children and women, killed in Arakan violence, accusing the Rohingya Muslims of “committing the massacre.” But the Rohingya Observatory for Human Rights refuted the Myanmar government’s accusations against the Rohingya Muslims, citing a number of “logical” evidence, saying it “refutes the government’s accusations and proves its involvement in this crime.
