Thousands of Rohingya refugees continue to flee their homes along the border with Bangladesh in the hope of surviving hunger and fear in Arakan as a result of Myanmar’s military campaign with Buddhist militias.

A video clip showed hundreds of people in the open, including women, children and elderly people. The video cameraman said they were more than 5,000 residents from various areas of Arakan and wanted to go to Bangladesh.

The video cameraman said the fear of the Myanmar army and the armed Buddhist gangs, which took over their cattle and property and suffered hunger, forced them to flee and then enter Bangladesh.
