Rohingya delegation met the participating officials in the Extraordinary Meeting of Foreign Ministers of Organization of Islamic cooperation which includes a number of ministers and officials on the sidelines of the meeting to address the situation of Rohingya Muslim minority in Myanmar.
During the meetings, the delegation presented thanks and appreciation to the officials participating in the meeting and the president of the Global Rohingya Center GRC Mr. Mohamed Alam Yassin said We bring gratitude on behalf of Rohingya people to Organization of Islamic Cooperation on the interest in the issue of Rohingya across all levels, and that the extraordinary meeting is the biggest proof of their the great role played by the organization in the process of this case, also Yasin thanked all delegations from countries participated in the meeting, pointing to the importance of continuing to communicate with the Government of Myanmar to get back Rohingya rights and stop the killings, arson, rape and all forms of violations against them, and added we are looking forward to the implementation of the provisions and decisions of the final statement for this important meeting, Yassin stressed that Rohingya around the world are waiting and hopeful about this meeting and are waiting for the implementation of its provisions on the ground.
