International humanitarian organizations are setting up an association for organizations that are interested in providing aid to Rohingya Muslims to coordinate common positions and programs to reduce the suffering of Rohingya.
This was announced at the conclusion of an emergency meeting of the Malaysian Consultative Council for Islamic Organization (MAPIM) last Sunday, which was invited international organizations from various countries, including Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam and France, in which the GRC participated as an organization interested in presenting the cause of the Rohingya Muslims.
The head of the GRC office in Malaysia Farid Abdul Jabbar, who participated in the meeting, told Arakan news agency that the meeting was about two main reasons, the first is the importance of the Mapim campaign recently to send a food fleet to the Rohingya and how it was able to pressure Myanmar and deliver humanitarian aid to the Rohingya Muslims who were affected by the humanitarian violations in the state of Arakan, adding that the second reason was about the next phase after the completion of the mission food flotilla and the importance of continuing support for this issue.
GRC representatives expressed their thanks and appreciation to the MAPIM Society for the great efforts they have made recently towards the Rohingya Muslims.
