Arakan News Agency correspondent reported that a fire broke out in the city of Akyab the capital of Arakan State to the homes belonging to Rohingya causing extensive damage.
The correspondent said that the fire broke out in a Muslim Rohingya house in the Dha Paing neighborhood south of the city and then transferred to other houses because of the wind, pointing out that the people of the neighborhood have contributed to limiting the spread of the fire before the civil defense showed up.
The correspondent added that the number of damaged houses were seven with the loss of property but no loss of human life.
