Burmese authorities have detained two young Rohingya men in Arakan, those have not even reached their twenties in prison for violation of government orders of curfew and go out.
They were released in exchange for 40 thousand Burmese kyat on each of the two young men as a correspondent ANA reported.
On the other hand authorities arrested a young Rohingya man named Ahmed Ayub Khan aged around 30 years old after surrounding his house in the village later the man was fabricated with charges of murdering Buddhist mayor of one of the villages, according to a source.
The source reported that the authorities have arrested him in his house – security forces surrounded the village and searched homes before the young man was detained by authorities. The source did not give any further details about the operation.
It is noteworthy that the Burmese authorities in Arakan deliberately detains Rohingyas to suppress in their towns and villages and extortion financially in order to pressure them and starve them in order to push them toward leaving the country voluntarily.
