European ambassadors visits the Rohingya refugee camps

The Danish Ambassador, together with the Norwegian and Swedish Ambassadors, made a joined visit to the Rohingya refugee camps and local host communities in the Cox’s Bazar area.
The ambassadors visited the official camps in Nayapara and Kutupalong, the informal make-shift camps in Leda and Kutupalong, as well as Ukhia health center and a hospital run by Medecins Sans Frontieres.
The three ambassadors and staff met the government authorities, camp managements and representatives of UNHCR, IOM, WFP and several local and international NGO’s that provide services to the affected people.
The three Scandinavian countries are deeply engaged in refugee issues and they are, combined, the second largest donor to the UN Refugee Agency UNHCR.
