Arrived on Saturday to Taipei City the capital of Taiwan the director general Rohingya Arakan Union (ARU) Professor Waqar Uddin and director of programs and conferences in the Global Rohingya Center (GRC) Omar Shafi to participate in the contemporary challenges of Muslim minorities conference which will be held from 13 to April 14 2015.
It is due that Professor Waqar Uddin will speak on the first day of conference sessions on the subject of religious and ethnic persecution on the issue of Muslims in Burma as they suffer from persecution at the hands of the Burmese authorities.
This conference is organized by the Muslim World League to discuss the problems of Muslim minorities regarding issues like the problems of education, streams of excessiveness, the relationship between minorities and the Islamic world, the suppression of minorities and academies and human relations in multi-religious societies.
It is worth mentioning that the Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) and Global Rohingya Center (GRC) has participated in many international forums and Islamic occasions by being the voice to the minority oppressed Muslim Rohingyas at the hands of extremists the Buddhists and the government in Burma to inform the world of their suffering.
