A delegation included Mr. Andrew (Britain Embassy Myanmar) and Mr.Gavin Mc Gillivray, Head of DFID Burma (Department for International Development) and some other foreign delegates arrived Aung Minglar Qtr, Sittwe, Arkan and held a meeting with local Rohingya community leaders in Arabic Primary School of Aung Minglar Qtr.

Delegation asked Rohingya Community Leaders,
“How much your situation has changed from 2013 to till now?
Rohingya Community Leaders, added “No change, nothing has changed yet we face the same situation. In fact the situation is getting worse day by day. As our Aung Minglar Qtr is not registered as IDP camp by government that’s one of the reasons they doesn’t provide any humanitarian aids here and doesn’t allow any Humanitarian Organization to provide Humanitarian Aids.”

They further added their concerns regarding upcoming elections of 2015, for which they are not eligible to vote as they have been revoked of their white cards (Temporary Registration Card) after nationwide demonstrations by Buddhist extremist monks.
