Continued burning of houses of the Rohingya

The series of arson attacks  continues to the houses of the Rohingya Muslims in Arakan Province, who are under attack by the Myanmar army and nationalist Buddhists.

The activists on social networking sites showed the burning of 380 houses in the village of Nondakhali in Maungdaw city.

The scenes documents the rising smoke from burning houses, which were set ablaze on Sunday.

Activists said the bulk of the village was home to about 1,800 people, was burned.

Since August 25th, the Myanmar army has committed genocide against Rohingya Muslims in Arakan province, killing and injuring thousands of civilians, according to Rohingya activists.

Some 400,000 people from the territory west of Myanmar have moved to Bangladesh since then, according to the United Nations.
