Campaigns for donations to support the construction of an Indonesian hospital in Myanmar

The Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (Mer-C) and Radio Republic Indonesia (RRI) have agreed to cooperate in raising funds for the construction of the Indonesian Hospital in Maruk-yu in Arakan State of Myanmar.
The agreement was signed
by a memorandum of understanding signed by Medical Emergency Rescue Committe (Mer-C) chairperson MS Mercy Sarbini Abdul Murad and La Sirama on Wednesday in a Jakarta irrigation building.
Based on the agreement, Radio Republic Indonesia will broadcast a declaration entitled “50,000 per person planned for the construction of the Indonesian hospital.”
In return for the announcement, the Medical Emergency Rescue Committee will provide free medical assistance to various events during the cooperation.
The Committee estimates that the cost of building the hospital is 25 billion Indonesian Rupiahs. The funds raised by the committee is currently amount to 12 billion Rupiahs.
The hospital will be built on an area of ​​7,000 square meters.
As part of the construction of the hospital, the humanitarian organization is working with the Indonesian Red Cross.
Foreign Minister Ritno Marsudi will lay the foundation stone for the hospital’s construction in October.
