A Rohingya man died of wounds sustained during an operation in the city of Buthidaung, Arakan State in Northern Myanmar.
An Arakan news agency correspondent said that on 24th March 2018, a Buddhist driver who was driving at an insane speed ran over the Rohingya man as he was walking along the side of the road, causing severe injuries.
The reporter said the victim had not received adequate treatment and was amputated by the accident and was in critical condition before he died last Saturday.
The perpetrator remains free, according to the victim’s family, and the authorities did not investigate nor arrested him.
