A Rohingya man was killed by an unidentified Buddhist gang who took him out of his home in Buthidaung City, Arakan state on last Wednesday afternoon.
The armed gang of five Buddhist men stormed the house of the Rohingya man named Mohammad Fayyad, aged 25, in the town of Shab Bazaar in Buthidaung city and forcibly took him to an unknown destination in front of his family.
The correspondent added that his wife had informed the police about the incident, and the police and the family searched for him and found him dead in cold blood on the side of the road in the area.
One of the relatives of the victim told the agency that the police did not open any sort of investigation into the case, despite being informed of the incident.
