Assault on Muslims in Myanmar on charges of curfew

At least 4 of Rohingya Muslims last Tuesday to the brutal assault by the security forces in Arakan State resulting in medium to minor injuries.
A reporter Arakan News Agency said the victims were on their way back to their village in Maungdaw from farms outside the village and at a traffic checkpoint in the village they were stopped by security forces because for the proximity of  curfew time.
The correspondent added that the victims tried to explain the position to the security and they were on their way to their homes, the security did not listen to them and attacked them with a knife although no the curfew starts at six in the evening, while the attack happened before 20 minutes of curfew, which means that the victims were able to access to their homes.

The correspondent said that the attack also included a number of Buddhists who were in the village and were also on their way back to the village, adding that everyone made a complaint to the village official and promised to investigate the matter.
