Arakan Rohingya Union (ARU) and the Global Rohingya Center (GRC) congratulated the Rohingy people and the Islamic and Arab nation on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Director General of the ARU Professor Wakar Uddin said Muslims everywhere are fasting in Ramadan, but in Arakan, we are witnessing a tightening pressure on practice of the religion of Islam by the Government of Myanmar.
For his part, The President of the Center, Mohammed Alam Yassin, expressed his wish that this month will be a good start for the Islamic nation and the oppressed Rohingyas and to recover their human rights in full as soon as possible.
Yassin called on the Islamic nation to exert all efforts to support the oppressed in this holy month and touch their needs and pray in the place of supplication.
