Army barred Rohingya movements and imposes strict penalties

Myanmar’s army threatened in the Rohingya village of Ramibil Fara in northern Maungdaw city of Arakan state, they opened fire on any one going for collecting water, which is allowed in the neighboring village of Haan Fara of Buddhist.
Agency correspondent reported that the army prevented Rohingyas to take their cows, cattle and others to approach by the village of «Haan Fara» inhabited by the majority Buddhist, noting that Rohingyas have land and farms there for decades, and are accustomed to grazing cows and cattle.

The reporter added that Buddhists village masterminded this plan with the army in order to rob the Rohingya territory and their livelihood by looting their crops or destroying under the ban on their entry to the village, as the reporter confirmed that the army has put a charge on livestock water sources on Rohingya.

As Some Rohingya locals have paid exceed amount on the basis of fine, which includes Mr. Maulvi Abu Ahmed Sultan paid 250 thousand kyat and Mr. Saeed Alam paid 750 thousand kyat, Mr. Kamal Ahmed paid 400 thousand kyat and Noor Alam paid 1,000,500 thousand kyat.

It is noteworthy that the Myanmar authorities keep economic blockade against Rohingya minority in Arakan State in order to pressure them and push them to leave the country with immigration policy.
