US actress Angelina Jolie on Sunday condemned the violence against the Muslim minority in Myanmar.
Jolie stressed the need to stop the violence committed by the army against this minority, and stressed the importance of allowing refugees to return to their country and grant them all their rights.
The US actress called on the Myanmar government leader Aung San Suu Kyi to address the crisis and break its silence towards these events.
Myanmar’s leader has been widely criticized for not condemning the violence against the Rohingya Muslims in Arakan, which has prompted hundreds of thousands to flee to neighboring Bangladesh.
