The Rohingya victim was drowned in a lake of Guwalia Del aka Thay Chaung of Akyab in Arakan State, on his way to home.
The victim was Hashim, aged 43 who was a local fish seller, providing for his family, including a disabled son by living in the IDP camp.
Based on reports, Hashim was returning home from the market and as Rohingyas has restriction of movement or using main routes, he was walking by a lake, where he slipped and drowned. And later his lifeless body was found near the lake by the Rohingya locals.
Due to this tragedy his already poor family is devastated, where his eldest son is disabled and unable to work to provide.
Restriction of movement is strongly imposed on Rohingyas. Which has become a major cause for deaths of Innocent Rohingyas.
