The Imam and the preacher of the Grand Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais, praised the brotherhood of the Rohingya, condemning the massacres of the Muslims in Myanmar, the brutal attacks and the systematic destruction of many villages and houses. One of the worst forms of brutal and bloody terrorism against the Muslim minority.

Al-Sudais also praised Saudi Arabia’s role in sending invitations to the international community to take urgent action to stop the violence, stop the violations against the Rohingya people and give the Muslim minority in Myanmar its rights without discrimination or racial classification. Which supported the Rohingya issue in international forums and donated $ 50 million through health and education rehabilitation programs as well as hosting them on its territory since 1948.

Al-Sudais pointed out that the Kingdom continues to support the displaced and afflicted in the world and provides all that it can provide to its brothers (Rohingya) of material, moral and political support to save them from their suffering and support their access to the most basic rights of food and health care.

At the end of his statement, al-Sudais thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdul Aziz, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister and Minister of Defense for their support, care and interest in Islam and Muslims in various parts of the world. It is clear that the wise leadership will succeed in the best interests of the country and its people, and that it will preserve us the blessing of security and faith.
