A Rohingya man was killed on Tuesday under mysterious circumstances in Buthidaung, eastern Arakan province.
Sources told Arakan news agency that the 45-year-old Hussein Ahmed was killed by unknown assailants. The motives behind the crime or those involved in it were not yet known.
It should be noted that similar incidents occurred in Arakan state against the Rohingya Muslims, involving Buddhist extremists and members of the Myanmar security forces.
