A Christian leader in Pakistan on Thursday protested what he saw as a failure by the United Nations and the international community to “genocide” against the minority Muslim Rohingya in Myanmar and Muslims in Kashmir.
According to pictures published by Agence France-Presse, Julius Salik ran the dirt on his body.
Behind Salik were photographs documenting abuses against residents of the two areas.
The Christian activist called on the United Nations and the international community to put pressure to stop what he called the genocide in Myanmar and Kashmir.
About 70,000 Rohingya minorities fled to neighboring Bangladesh where they reported acts of mass murder, rape and torture that Myanmar soldiers had been accused of committing.
