3 Rohingya Muslims imprisoned for three months on charges of collaborating with third parties

Myanmar authorities in Arakan State ordered three Muslims to be jailed for three months on charges of communicating with third parties hostile to the authorities.

A reporter of Arakan News Agency said three people were arrested from the city of Buthidaung on charges of communicating with third parties hostile to the government in Myanmar without any obvious evidences they called in for victim’s detention into the custody of the government and then transferred to the central prison in the city.

The correspondent said that the arrest was in arbitrary manner near their homes without clarifying the reason for the arrest or evidence.

It is noteworthy, that Myanmar government has a long history of falsely accusing Rohingya Muslims and detaining them to persecutions and tortures.
