A Nayapara refugee arrested in Maungdaw faces merciless torture in custody.
Md Sultan a Rohingya teenager aged 17 was arrested on Friday on terror charges.
A day before, Sultan had crossed over to Burma to accompany his cousin Arifa Begum aged 22 who wanted to meet her parents. Another cousin Md Rafique aged 32 was also accompanied them.
When Border Guard Police (BGP) stopped them, they started asking hard questions to Sultan who confessed that they had crossed over from Bangladesh. His two companions managed to escape.
Our sources say that the arrested man is an agricultural laborer.
